March Update!

I have to apologize for not posting on here more frequently! I promise to try harder to write more often. Here are a few exciting things from the last couple of months:

- The Fraidies, a band I play keys/piano with, has finished an album. We just finished the mastering process this last week and it sounds great! We don't have a release date yet, but we're looking forward to sharing it with you all! To hear some demos, check out our Reverb Nation page HERE and "Like" us on Facebook HERE.

- I will be performing at the World Rhythm Festival at the Seattle Center on Saturday April 5th at 2:00pm! I'm doing a 30 minute set of Jazz Vibes. The festival is free and open to the public! I will be playing in Fisher Pavillion. If you're around the Seattle Center, come check it out! Here is a link to the website:

- Last month at UW, we hosted percussion perfomer and composer Ivan Trevino. It was a great experience as Ivan brought his contagious energy and awesome compositions! Andrew Angell and I had the pleasure of performing his composition 2 +1 and working with him on it. Ivan's compositions have been extremely influential on my own musical writing so it was amazing to be able hear about his compositional process. Check out the picture above from his visit!

Check back soon for what will hopefully be more regular posts about what I'm doing and thinking about!
